Privacy

This page explains how we, Socle Collections, process the personal data of visitors to this website, of people who write to us or subscribe to our newsletter, and of the professionals we contact by email to present our services.

Who processes your data

The data controller is Socle Collections, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 849 791 017. Its registered office is at 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris, France. The publication director is Victor Guénard.

When you visit the website

The website, its images, short videos and 3D models are hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, your browser sends it technical data with each page: your IP address, your browser type and the page requested. We use this data to display the website and to protect it: we limit the number of form submissions per IP address. If a page fails to display, your browser sends us an error report (the page, the error and the browser type) so that we can fix it. This technical data is kept for no more than seven days. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website.

Videos are streamed by Mux, which measures playback (number of views, streaming quality) without cookies or any viewer identifier. In some browsers, such as Chrome, the player also loads Google's Chromecast module, which lets you send a video to a television.

When you write to us

The contact form collects your name, email address, organisation, the nature and timeline of your project, your message and, if you provide one, a reference link. We use this data to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. This processing is based on your request, ahead of a possible contract.

Your message reaches us by email through Resend, which also sends you an acknowledgement of receipt. We then record your contact details in Sellsy, our customer relationship tool, without subscribing you to the newsletter. To filter out automated submissions, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyses technical data from your browser as soon as you start filling it in.

We keep these exchanges for three years after your last message. If you become a client, we keep them for the duration of our relationship, then for three years.

Newsletter

To subscribe, you give us your email address. We use it to send you the studio's news. This processing is based on your consent. We keep it until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time from any mailing.

When we contact you by email

Why we use your data

We use this data to present our services to professionals whose role is relevant to those services. We do so by email.

On what legal basis?

This processing is based on our legitimate interest, as provided for in Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). That interest is to make our services known to business clients. You can object to it at any time (see "Your rights").

What data we process

We only process professional data. This means your name, your job title, your company, your professional email address and the messages we exchange with you.

Where your data comes from

We find it on company websites, in the press and in professional databases.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for three years after your last message to us (a reply, for example). If you have never written to us, we keep it for three years after we collected it. If you ask not to be contacted again, we keep that request in order to respect it. For this, we keep the information that allows us to recognize you.

Who sees your data

Your data is accessed by our team. Depending on the case, it is processed in the tools we use: Cloudflare (website hosting and protection), Mux (video), Google (the video player's Chromecast module), Resend (form emails), Google Workspace, Sellsy, Airtable, GitHub and artificial intelligence services. We never sell your data, and we do not pass it on to anyone for their own use. When one of these providers is established outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by a safeguard provided for by the GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or its standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can refuse to receive our messages at any time, without giving a reason. This is your right to object. If you refuse, we will not write to you again. You can also withdraw your consent to the newsletter at any time, from any mailing.

You also have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability regarding your data.

To exercise any of these rights, simply reply to one of our messages or write to contact@soclecollections.com.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), at www.cnil.fr.
