Spaces

Capturing places that won't happen twice.

Lidar and photogrammetry combined: millimetre geometry, photorealistic materials. For historic salons, façades and heritage sites, whenever a place must become a set, a virtual exhibition or a reference for fabrication.

Balenciaga · Ruinart

Not a survey. A capture.

Regulatory plans and measurements remain the surveyors' business. The studio steps in when a place must be restored as it is, materials included, for a CGI production, an immersive experience or a heritage file. Lidar fixes the geometry; photogrammetry brings the stone, the wood, the leather, the plaster. Two examples say it better than a promise: Cristóbal Balenciaga's couture salon at 10-12 avenue George V, captured for a CGI film on Unreal Engine 5. And the walls of the Ruinart chalk cellars, captured in photogrammetry for the fabrication of objects and architectural elements. Mission format: from one day on site, two operators. Three deliverables: point cloud, textured mesh, set ready for Unreal Engine 5.

The places

Balenciaga

Balenciaga's Birthplace

10-12 avenue George V, the Couture House where Cristóbal Balenciaga lived and worked until 1968. Couture salon and façade in lidar and photogrammetry, 15 period furniture pieces in photogrammetry, all in a single day. CGI film on Unreal Engine 5 in path tracing.

Ruinart

Crayères

Champagne chalk cellars inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Photogrammetric capture of the walls, with OOSHOT for Maison Sagan. The models were used to fabricate objects and architectural elements derived from the site.

Lidar and photogrammetry

Precision and equipment
  • Terrestrial lidar, 2 mm at 10 metres
  • High-resolution photogrammetry (full-frame bodies) for material rendering: stone, wood, plaster, leather
  • On-site capture across Europe, in North America through our partners. Two operators minimum
  • Reference cadence: a couture salon, its furniture and its façade in a single day
Deliverables
  • Point clouds (PLY, E57)
  • Polygonal models (OBJ, FBX, USD) with PBR textures
  • 3D BIM models as needed
  • Compatibility with architectural and CGI workflows (Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya)

Frequently asked questions

Do you do architectural surveys?

No. Plans, measurements and regulatory deliverables remain the surveyors' business. The studio steps in when the geometry must be photorealistic and usable in production: CGI, immersive experience, fabrication, restoration.

What capture precision?

Lidar precision: 2 mm at 10 metres. Combined with high-resolution photogrammetry for photorealistic material rendering (stone, wood, leather, plaster).

What deliverables for a space scan?

Point clouds (PLY, E57), polygonal models (OBJ, FBX, USD) with PBR textures, BIM 3D models on request. Formats compatible with architectural and CGI production workflows.

Who deploys on site?

Two operators minimum. For Balenciaga's couture salon (15 furniture pieces + façade + interior), everything was captured in a single day.

A place to capture?

Historic salon, archive workshop, heritage site, iconic façade. Tell us the subject and the goal: we tell you whether we are the right team for the job, and how we would proceed.
