From 11 March to 23 April 2023, the Frac Grand Large, Hauts-de-France, presented OPEN/FRAC in the Halle AP2 in Dunkirk: an immersive digital experience conceived as a new way of sharing the collection, halfway between an exhibition and a collective journey.
Pupils from the Gaspard Malo secondary school in Dunkirk selected 19 works from the collection and accompanied them with their own texts, poems and recordings. Socle scanned the selected works by photogrammetry, inside the Frac's own spaces, then designed the experience that lets visitors explore them on site, on a tablet or a smartphone. Tablets are lent at the front desk.
